Chevrolet Cruze Design and Exterior
The main design concept and engineering focus of the Chinese model has been on improving fuel economy, simpler handling and smarter technology. Yet another interesting, attention-grabbing fact about new Chinese Cruze is that it will be powered by the new Ecotec engines. This next-generation concept of engines was developed with a partnership between General Motors and SAIC.

This concept of redesign and modification specially provides improved headroom in the interior of the car. The front design of the vehicle has a unique visual effect with a dual-meshed grille and sleek flowing headlights.
Engine specifications of the Ecotek engines for models unveiled at the Chinese launch are 1.4 L 4-cylinder turbo engine and 1.5 L Ecotec engine vacuum. The 1.5-liter four-cylinder is rated at 113 horsepower and 108 Nm of torque; the 1.4-liter turbo four rated engine is powered at 148 horsepower and 173 Nm of torque, respectively.
For the Chinese model of the new 2016 Chevrolet Cruze, it has been confirmed to be available with three different types of transmissions:

In the US 2016 Chevrolet Cruze will be offered in three basic levels of equipment (L, LS, LT), as well as the top-end performance of Premier and with additional styling package RS. The car in the base version will get ten airbags and disc brakes on all wheels. For an extra charge you can order a rear-view camera system for tracking the observance of tiering and prevent frontal collisions at low speeds, as well as the tracking function of the blind zones.
