Ferrari S.p.A. – Italian company producing sports cars, based in Maranello. Founded in 1929 by Enzo Ferrari as the Scuderia Ferrari, the company sponsored racers and manufactured race cars before 1947. Since 1947, the company launched street- legal sports cars under the brand name «Ferrari S.p.A.». Throughout its history, the company participated in a variety of racing, especially in Formula 1, where it had the greatest success. The emblem of “Ferrari” is a rearing stallion on a yellow background. The traditional color of the cars is red, but the company also produces the cars of other colors. At the moment Ferrari is owned by Fiat group.
